New Years Resolutions – some love ’em, some hate ’em. But it’s hard to deny the fact that the best time to commit to making goals and plans to improve in your life is at the start of a new year.
We don’t usually make plans or book anything too far in advance when we do decide to go on a trip, but after a lull in our travel life last year compared to our epic adventure around the world the year before, it makes sense that we set some expectations for ourselves to bring our travel game back up.
Here’s what we’ve come up with for 2019:
- Visit 2 new countries (bringing our total visited together to 30!)
- Visit 2 new U.S. national parks
- Visit 1 new U.S. state
- Visit 2 new museums
- Hike 3 new trails
- Take our pop-up camper on a road trip to another state
- Fly with only carry-ons
- A weekend staycation
- Volunteer in a new place
- Try one thing that scares us
We’re hoping to recap this at the end of the year to make sure we completed everything on the list!
